CO2 rise is happening faster and faster: ‘It’s going completely in the wrong direction’
The increase of the greenhouse gas CO2 in the atmosphere is accelerating. This is shown by new preliminary figures. It is due to a slight increase in emissions, while at the same time the CO2 absorption by oceans and land (trees and grassland) is actually decreasing. “Nature is no longer helping us to solve the problem.”
