We believe …
Our planet is in urgent need of more forest areas: essential for an improved climate, richer biodiversity and the well-being of all its inhabitants. Our passion lies in Iceland, known for its pure air, geothermal heat sources and abundant waterfalls – a country where nature takes its course. Historically, Iceland was richly covered in forests, and we are confident that we can restore and expand this landscape with new forest areas. By planting native tree species, with the support of the Icelandic Forest Service we embark on this green adventure. Our goal? A richer biodiversity, a healthier climate and a greener Iceland. Imagine that our efforts contribute to global greening and CO2 reduction, then we can pass on our future to our next generation in a responsible manner. Would you like to work with us on this noble goal and thereby contribute to a greener, healthier world?
A unique forestry project has started
this spring in the north of Iceland
An ecological investment and forestry project of 12 million m2 (1200 hectares). The main goal of the project is to grow a multifunctional forest. A forest that retains carbon, balances water management, increases soil fertility and provides long-term certified timber benefits. In addition, the forest will permanently increase the value of the area for outdoor activities with the diversity and shelter provided by the forest.
Start of tree planting
We are proud to announce that we have planted 100,000 trees, ahead of our schedule. The ground has also been ploughed for the remaining plantings.

Our earth is under threat
Our world is changing, and it’s not for the better. Climate change isn’t just a far-off threat—it’s here, creating chaos. Think about it: droughts sparking wildfires, winters becoming unpredictable, and temperatures soaring. This warming isn’t friendly—it’s melting ice caps and bleaching our colorful coral reefs. These are homes to creatures big and small, now facing an uncertain future.
The sad truth? Animals are disappearing because their habitats are vanishing. Extinction isn’t a far-off possibility; it’s happening right before our eyes.
We’re here not to instill fear, but to raise awareness and ignite action. It’s vital that everyone understands why fighting climate change matters—it’s about survival, for us and the countless species we share this planet with.
And let’s be clear: There is no single answer, no silver bullet. Whether we’re planting trees, partnering with coral reef conservation, investing in mangrove restoration, or supporting any other initiatives fighting climate change, SOS WORLD CLIMATE is committed to playing our part in the global mission to rescue our planet.
However, we can’t do it alone, we need your help. Join us in our mission to safeguard our world. It’s time for each of us to stand up and be the guardians our planet needs. Let’s act now ……TOGETHER WE CAN DO IT !!!
